Junior Youth (JY)

Building strong foundations during formative years

Sundays • 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Youth Room, West Wing
Ages 13-17 years

Our History

Foundation (2000)

The Junior Youth ministry of Hope Congregation was established in 2000 to address the specific spiritual and social needs of adolescents. Recognizing that the teenage years are a critical time for faith development, the church leadership created a dedicated ministry for youth aged 13-17.

Growth & Expansion (2008)

What began with just 10 teenagers meeting in a small classroom has grown into a vibrant group of over 40 active members. In 2008, the JY received its own dedicated meeting space as part of the church's expansion project.

Modern Program (Present)

Over the years, the Junior Youth ministry has developed a comprehensive program that balances Bible teaching, mentorship, character development, social activities, and community service. Many of our church's current young adult leaders are graduates of the JY program.
